A: Thanks for your inquiry. This is an interesting question as we are undergoing a change in how we share in general in the Skype for Business ecosystem. Starting with the 2016 windows release we have begun using Video Based Screen Sharing (VBSS) as the default method of screen sharing. It does not support app sharing. In Windows, when customers want to app share, it falls back to our legacy RDP technology. At this time, its in our backlog but its unlikely we want to invest into further RDP work.

Q: Are there plans to be able to attach files in Chat for the Mac client? This is currently available in the Windows client. (thread)

A: If you mean file transfer, that is something we are targeting for Online users for Q2CY17.

Les étapes d'installations sont les suivantes:

1/ Importation du template OVF

 Choisir l'ova téléchargé sur le portal sonus.

 Définir le nom

Ma capacité de storage n'étant pas illimité, choix du mode "Thin Provision". En production, privilégiez "Thick Provision Lazy Zeroed "

Séléctionner les réseaux nécessaires et mapper les a une carte réseau. Dans mon cas, une carte en DMZ, une dans le vlan voix comprenant mes serveurs SFB et mes deux clusters Cisco, une carte dans le vlan CCE ayant mon Cloud Connector Edition pour mes futurs tests.

La premiere carte semble être celle de management.

Valider la configuration:

 Déploiement de la VM

 Vous pouvez ensuite modifier les paramètres de la VM.

 Plusieurs raisons a cela:

- Préciser une MAC statique pour les différentes cartes réseaux;

- J'ai fait plusieurs tests d'installations, parfois, le mapping carte/vlan n'est pas pris en considération.

- Par défaut, l'installation comprend 1 cpu 1 core, cela rend l'administration tres peu fluide

La préparation de la VM étant effective, vous pouvez procéder au démarrage.

A ce stade, vous pouvez préciser les identifiants par défaut pour procéder a la configuration de base.

Identifiant: netconfig

Password: Config!

Mettre un nouveau mot de passe.

Si vous êtes sur un vlan sans DHCP, vous pouvez préciser une adresse IP temporaire d'administration afin de procéder au setup initial.

Préciser les informations IP pour l'interface de Management temporaire.

 Vous devez ensuite procéder au mapping des cartes virtuelles VMWare avec celle du Sonus.

Vous devez mapper l'interface logique Sonus management, Ethernet 1,2,3 et 4 avec vos cartes virtuelles VMWare.

Valider bien que la MAC adresse correspondant a la carte réseau souhaitée, l'ordre présenté ne représentant pas forcément l'ordre de vos cartes réseaux dans VMWare.

Appliquer les changements:

 Une fois la configuration pris en considération par l'appliance, vous pouvez vous connectez a l'IP de management.

Connectez vous sur l'IP précisé pour la carte de management.

L'interface web permettant d'effectuer la configuration initiale devrait être accessible.

• New Fields in 3.0:
  Some new requested fields have been added to Schema D. This might break backward compatibility with some receivers and therefore requires a specific activation using a hidden schema extension setting.

• Schema Validation:
  Schema validation of messages from Dialog Listener to SDN Manager is (now) disabled (minimalschemavalidation=true) by default. Minimal validation is performed on messages (specifically client QoE messages). Schema validation can be enabled by setting the SdnManager parameter minimalschemavalidation=false. Schema validation errors found will only be logged. This setting’s default has been changed to respond an increasing number of schema validation errors due to recent changes in the SfB client’ QoE structure.

• Support for TLS 1.2
  SSL connections between SDN Manager and Dialog Listener now require TLS1.2 support. SSL connections between SDN manager and subscribers now support TLS1.2 and TLS1.1. SSL 3.0 is, for security reasons, rejected. Some older OS versions might need to adjustments.
  App sharing streams will continue to be measured based on the 500kbps/1Mbps limit for poor, bad, good in end of call stream quality. If VbSS is used AppSharing data streams will check different limits (15/14K).
• Customer Experience reporting:
  The SDN Interface will report anonymous usage data as part of the Customer Experience program. No user PII or organizational data is collected.
• New fields available with 3.0 when schema preview is enabled

- In a Federation call scenario, some messages are not transmitted
- During retransmission, some call ended events are incorrectly re-ordered
- SdnManager Performance Counter '# calls completed' would not account for some calls leading to an incorrect counter

- Logs created for replay do not account for some fields in the message
- Trunk field was inconsistently reported in QoE and Signaling messages were being filtered
- Log level Debug didi not have sufficient detail to troubleshoot an issue
- Fixed association of protocols name in signaling messages with different capitalization.
- SDNManager does not accept all 2xx code to indicate successful receipt of a message (only accepts 200 OK)
- AppliedBandwidth limit in VSS scenario Is not being handled correctly

2. There is no way to specify an output file for all Subscribers or Listeners.
3. Previous instances of REDIS allowed case-sensitive subscriber names. These are no longer supported, and are ignored. Users must either drop the entire REDIS data cache OR remove the case-sensitive subscriber name by matching the case-sensitivity.
4. Dialog Listener install, by default, configures a Service startup dependency on Skype for Business Server Front-End service. La mise à jour de Novembre 2016 pour OOS est la première mise à jour importante pour le serveur et comprend toute une série d'améliorations.

OOS est conçu pour fonctionner avec la SharePoint Server, Exchange Server et Skype pour Business Server 2016 et est également compatible avec SharePoint Server, Exchange Server et Lync Server 2013. L’application permet aux organisations d’offrir aux utilisateurs une version web de certaines applications de la suite Office comme Word, Excel, PowerPoint et OneNote.

Le guide couvre l’application d’une mise à jour Office Online Server avec un environnement Skype Entreprise. Dans ce scénario, l’application est sans frais avec des fonctionnalités en mode affichage uniquement, qui inclut le partage PowerPoint dans Skype for Business

Au moment de la rédaction de ce guide, la suppression du serveur de la ferme OOS et de l’application est nécessaire pour l’opération de mise à jour.

L’environnement :

Dans notre exemple, l’environnement cible est de ce type :

• Une instance Office Online Server ;
• Ferme Skype for Business 2015 avec voix entreprise.

L’exemple est à but informatif et ne peux pas couvrir tous les scénarios de déploiements possibles.

1/ Prérequis pour mettre à jour Office Online Server :

Le bon succès d’un déploiement doit prendre en considération l’ensemble des prérequis technologiques.

• Téléchargement de la nouvelle version OOS depuis VLSC (Volume Licensing Server Center) :

• Collecte de la configuration existante :

Les informations nécessaires dans notre exemple pour recréer la ferme suite à la mise à niveau sont :

• InternalURL ;
• ExternalURL ;
• CertificateName ;

2/ Suppression du serveur de la ferme OOS :

Dans le cadre d’une ferme composé d’un seul server OOS, appliquer la commande suivante.

Lancer une fenetre powershell en mode administrateur et appliquer la commande :

La machine ne fait maintenant plus parti de la ferme OOS.

3/ Suppression de l’application OOS sur le serveur :

A la date de réalisation de ce guide, il est nécessaire de désinstaller l’application OOS pour déployer la nouvelle version.

• Option 1 : Suppression via le panneau de configuration

Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

Séléctionner le programme “Microsoft Office Online Server”

Cliquer sur « Oui »

• Option 2 : Suppression en powershell

Vous pouvez utiliser des commandes powershell pour identifier et supprimer l’application OOS du serveur.

Lancer une fenetre powershell en mode administrateur et appliquer les commandes.

Identification des programmes présents sur le serveur.

Collecte dans une variable composants en relation avec OOS.

Désinstallation de l’application.

Vérification suite à la désinstallation.

4/ Installation de la mise à jour Office Online Server :

Après avoir télécharger l’application Office Online Server, l’étape suivante consiste en l’installation de la mise à jour.

• Lancer l’exécutable :

Accepter les termes et agréments.

Sélection du répertoire d’installation de l’application.

Installation en cours.

Fin de l’installation.

5/ Création de la ferme Office Online Server :

La mise a jour serveur étant installé, nous pouvons maintenant procéder à la création de la ferme Office Online Server avec les paramètres collectés lors de la phase 1.

L’opération s’effectue en powershell et permet de préciser les url internes et externes, ainsi que le certificat utilisé.

Les paramètres sont les suivants :

• InternalURL: FQDN du serveur Office Online Server, dans notre exemple, officeonlinesrv.nissarte.ca.
• ExternalURL: FQDN accessible sur internet, dans notre exemple, oos.nissarte.ca.
• CertificateName: Nom convivial du certificat à utiliser.

Lancer une fenetre powershell en mode administrateur et copier-coller la commande adaptée à votre environnement. Le résultat apparait après quelques minutes de traitement et résumant la configuration de la ferme.

Vous pouvez procéder à une première étape de validation de la configuration en utilisant la page de découverte de la l’application dans un navigateur.

Si le résultat est concluant, vous devriez voir apparaitre du contenu XML dans votre navigateur.

5/ Validation fonctionnement avec Skype Enterprise

Après application de la mise à jour OOS, si la configuration est fonctionnelle, dans le journal d’évènement Skype for Business, deux occurrences de type informations avec les ID 41032 et 41034 devrait être visibles.

Exemple avec l’event 41032 :

6/ Test de la fonctionnalité :

Le test ultime permettant de valider que la fonctionnalité est accessible consiste en utilisation la fonctionnalité « Présenter des fichiers PowerPoint » lors d’une conférence Skype for Business.

6/ Observation :

Dans le cadre d’une ferme avec plusieurs serveurs OOS, les étapes sont les suivantes pour chaque serveur, un après l’autre :

• Suppression de la machine de la ferme OOS avec la commande :

• Désinstallation de l’application OOS sur le serveur local (étape 3) ;
• Installation de la nouvelle version OOS sur le serveur local (étape 4) ;
• Joindre la machine a la ferme

Une mise a jour dans Microsoft Teams permet d'activer ou désactiver l'intégration avec le client Skype for Business.
