Pour diverses raisons, il est nécessaire de faire un reset factory d'un Polycom Trio.

Dans notre cas, un équipement n'est plus en capacité de lancer son application.

Les étapes pour éffectuer un reset factory sont les suivantes:

1- Commencez par débrancher le périphérique de sa source d'alimentation.

2- Une fois éteint, rebranchez-le.

3- Lorsque le bouton muet s’allume, maintenir les quatre coins de l’écran LCD enfoncés et relacher lorsque la lumière clignote

4- La restauration d'usine débute

Reboot de l'équipement.

VVX 501 and 601 business media phones support the Polycom EagleEye Mini USB camera with all the features and capabilities supported with the Polycom VVX camera.

VVX 501 and VVX 601 business media phones with a connected EagleEye Mini camera support the following features:

● Video stream transmissions up to 1080p with a maximum bit rate of 4 Mbps for AVC calls.
● Microsoft H.264 UC video codec for Skype for Business peer-to-peer video calls and video conference calls.
● Forward Error Correction (FEC) with the Microsoft H.264 UC video codec.
● Simulcast video streams with the Microsoft H.264 UC video codec.
● CCCP video conference calls.
● Quality of Service (QoS) for Skype for Business video calls.

The following lists the video and video codec parameters:

Forward Error Correction
Polycom phones support Forward Error Correction (FEC) DV0 and DV1 with Skype for Business Server 2015, Skype for Business 2015 client, and Lync 2013 environments for H.264 SVC. The scheme introduces recovery packets on the transmitter which recover lost video packets on the receiver.
FEC performance and quality improvements with this release may vary depending on network conditions.
When BToE is enabled and the video-enabled phone is paired to the Skype for Business client on your computer, the preference for transmitting and receiving video streams is given to Skype for Business client. The preference is given to VVX phones only when the phone unpairs with the Skype for Business client. You can place all Skype for Business related calls from VVX phones as audio-only irrespective of the call mode selected on the phone. However, users can choose to enable video from the paired Skype for Business client.

Use the following parameter to set the FEC codec priority:
● video.codecPref.XUlpFecUC

Simulcast Video
Polycom phones registered to Skype for Business can simultaneously send a low resolution video stream and a second higher-resolution video stream to conference participants in a Skype for Business AVMCU meeting. Simulcast is enabled by default.
Skype for Business AVMCU-based video meetings are driven by endpoint requests to receive video, which is called a video source request (VSR). The VSR specifies the resolution (among other constraints) and the participant(s) whose video the endpoint would like to display. The requested resolution in Skype for Business client video calls is based on the size of the video window and new VSRs are sent when the size of the window changes.

Centralized Conference Control Protocol (CCCP) Conference View Support

With the support of Polycom EagleEye Mini USB camera, the VVX 501 and 601 business media phones support the Centralized Conference Control Protocol (CCCP) Skype for Business conference view during a video call.

You can configure the phone allowing users to control the Skype for Business conference view during a video call. Users can set the conference view from Conference Settings menu.
Use the following parameter to configure the Skype for Business conference view settings on the phone:
● video.CCCPView

Quality of Service (QoS) for Skype for Business Video Calls

With the release and support of the Polycom EagleEye Mini USB camera, the VVX 501 and 601 business media phones support QoS of Skype for Business video calls. You can configure VVX 501 and 601 phones to receive Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) for audio and video calls.
You can configure the phones to support QoS of Skype for Business video calls using the following parameters:
● qos.ip.rtp.dscp
● qos.ip.rtp.video.dscp

Toggling Between Audio-only or Audio-Video Calls

You can enable users to toggle between audio-only and audio-video calls.

When this feature is enabled on the video-enabled business media phones, a soft key displays to enable users to toggle calls between audio-only or audio-video. This feature also applies to audio and video conference calls in Skype for Business environments.
When the phone is registered, you can:
● Use video.callMode.default to begin calls as audio-video or audio only. By default, calls begin as audio. After a video call has ended, the phone returns to audio-only.
● If you set this parameter to audio, users can choose to add video to the call.
● Use feature.audioVideoToggle.enabled to enable users to choose audio-video before placing a call.
● If set to audio-only, users must choose to use audio-video before the call begins. After the video call ends, the phone returns to audio-only.
● Use audioVideoToggle.callMode.persistent to maintain or reset the call mode set by users.

Le certificat utilisé au niveau du contexte TLS 0 fut révoqué par erreur. Le chiffrement de la signalisation et paquet voix étant effectué par un autre certificat via le tls context 1, seul l'accès administratif web est impacté.

17:45 : Session 2- Deep Dive Direct Routing avec Microsoft Teams. Le « Direct Routing » ou routage direct est une fonctionnalité de Phone System dans Office 365. Elle permet aux entreprises de se connecter à un périphérique Session Border Controler (SBC) afin qu’elles puissent utiliser Microsoft Teams avec leur propre fournisseur de services téléphoniques (opérateur) ou en intégration avec un environnement PBX existant. Cette session sera un deep dive en relation avec le fonctionnement, les flux médias et configurations nécessaires pour exploiter ce type d'intégration par Christophe Boucetta, Microsoft MVP et CCNP Voice/Collaboration

Cela fut annoncé durant Microsoft Inspire, Skype for Business 2019 est maintenant disponible en preview.

La version 2019 sera tres orienté consommation de service cloud tout en conservant la téléphonie localement.

La preview permet les intégrations suivantes:

Cloud Voicemail. Skype for Business Server 2019 when paired with Exchange Server 2019 will use Cloud Voicemail to provide voicemail services. This provides an alternative to Unified Messaging, which will not be offered in Exchange Server 2019. With Cloud Voicemail, voicemail messages will continue to be stored in the user’s email inbox. Skype for Business Server customers who are currently using Unified Messaging and plan to migrate to Exchange Server 2019 should first plan and deploy Cloud Voicemail. Skype for Business Server customers who are planning to remain on older versions of Exchange, can continue to use voicemail functionality provided by Unified Messaging on their supported Exchange deployments.

Cloud Auto Attendant. We will begin supporting the use of Cloud Auto Attendant, so that on-premises customers can always use the latest version of Auto Attendant. Customers will need to use a hybrid configuration for users syncing to AAD. Please note that Cloud Auto Attendant will be available later this year – we will announce when ready.

 Cloud Call Data Connector. Call Analytics is integrated into the core experience for administration and management in Office 365. With this addition to Skype for Business Server, you now have the ability to upload your call quality data to Office 365. This means you no longer need to store this data locally, and you can use the latest enhancements in the cloud version for a consolidated view of calling diagnostics. As we update reporting in the cloud, customers will be able to take advantage of these enhancements. CQD (Call Quality Dashboard) experience in cloud for on-premises customers will be made available later this year.

Streamlined Teams Migration. On-premises customers have noted to us that while they need on-premises support they recognize they will move eventually to the cloud. To ease that transition for customers, we have further simplified the experience to migrate to Teams

Fonctionnalité: Rejoignez une équipe avec un code

Vous pouvez maintenant obtenir un lien pour que les utilisateurs puissent facilement la rejoindre une équipe.

Lorsque vous utilisez la fonctionnalité de rejoindre une équipe avec un code, l'utilisateur a le choix de rejoindre ou non la team.

Le processus de création du code est possible via l'option "gérer l'équipe" pour la Team. Cette fonctionnalité de création d'un code est seulement accessible pour une personne ayant un profil administrateur de l'équipe.

Naviguer vers "Paramètres" et séléctionner "Code d'équipe"

Cliquer sur "Générer"

Un code est maintenant visible. Ce code est uniquement utilisable pour des utilisateurs membres du même tenant, il n'est pas utilisable par des profils invités. Il est aussi possible ensuite de réinitialiser ou supprimer le code de cette équipe.

Un utilisateur souhaitant rejoindre une équipe avec un code aura simplement a séléctionner l'option "Se joindre a ou créer une équipe" via son client Microsoft Teams

L'option "Se joindre à une équipe à l'aide d'un code" sera utilisé en précisant le code généré précédemment.

This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office that could allow remote code execution if a user opens a specially crafted Office file. Fixes:

This security update contains the following improvements and fixes:

• Right-to-left languages not aligned correctly and call notification strings shown in the wrong direction in Skype for Business 2016
• Japanese characters in a Skype for Business 2016 online meeting are garbled and can't be read correctly
• Can't input messages until clicking participants list after taking control in screen sharing in Skype for Business 2016
• Letters such as "y" and "g" aren't shown fully in minimum IM text window in Skype for Business 2016

Ces deux derniers jours, j'ai réussi quelques appels de services en relation avec des problèmes de partage de bureau.

Microsoft a émis une note concernant des problèmes de partage d'applications suite a l'application des correctifs de sécurité Windows du 10 juillet 2018.

Resolution:  For any impacted operating system, we recommend you remove the July 10th, 2018 Security Update (KB numbers will vary between OS) and re-apply Windows Updates which contain the fixed replacement security updates.

The table below outlines the impacted KB for each operating system and the associated KB which must be applied to resolve the issue. In the case where there are multiple updates listed for an operating system, only one of the updates should be required. The presence of two updates is indicative of whether a rollup or individual security update is being used to update the operating system.

Nouvelle fonctionnalité: Traduire un message dans une conversation ou un canal

Vous pouvez maintenant traduire les messages instantanées présent dans une conversation ou un canal directement avec votre client Microsoft Teams.

Une nouvelle option est disponible:

Cette option vous permet de traduire la conversation dans la langue utilisée par votre client.

Une fois traduit, vous pouvez revenir au message d'origine si souhaité.

Microsoft Teams est en constante évolution.

Microsoft a rendu disponible le 17 juillet 2018 une série de nouvelles fonctionnalités.

The more, the merrier in meetings

You can now have up to 250 participants in meetings! All the video, audio, and screen sharing you're used to in smaller meetings works for these larger meetings, too. Just right for that quarterly all-hands get-together.

PowerPoint in meetings just got better

Sharing a presentation gets some special treatment with these improvements. When you share just a PowerPoint file, it uses less bandwidth than a video stream—so if you've got bandwidth constraints, this is a great option. Participants can navigate through the slides privately, reading ahead or looking back to catch something they missed. Read more here.

Bring your Skype for Business contacts to Teams

When your organization moves from Skype for Business to Teams, your contacts will make the move with you. To see them, once you're in Teams, click Chat on the left, then Contacts at the top.

Translate chat messages

The world is our workplace here at Teams, so we're loving this feature. At the top of a message, select More options > Translate to get an instant translation of the message into the language you've set for Teams! Très cool.

(If you don't see this option, talk to your admin. They may need to turn it on.)

Send code snippets in a message

You're now able to create and share a snippet of code right in a chat or channel message. Get syntax highlighting, auto-indentation, and text wrapping control, all in the programming language of your choice! To try it, look under the compose box, then select Format > Code snippet </>.

L'identification de l'appelant peut être contrôlée pour les appels entrants et sortants pour les utilisateurs du système téléphonique en utilisant une stratégie de type csCallingLineIdentity.

La fonctionnalité d'identification de l'appelant est disponible pour tous les utilisateurs du système téléphonique, indépendamment de la connectivité RTPC.

Actuellement, ces commandes fonctionnent avec les scénarios suivants:

• Online PSTN Connectivity

• On-Premises PSTN Connectivity with Skype for Business Cloud Connector Edition (requires Cloud Connector Edition 1.4.2 and beyond)

• On-Premises PSTN Connectivity with Skype for Business Server (requires Skype for Business Server 2015 CU5 and beyond)

Par défaut, l'identification de l'appelant est le numéro de téléphone assigné a l'utilisateur. Vous pouvez modifier les stratégies pour permettre de présenter l'identification de l'appelant comme anonyme, en tant qu'un numéro de service, ou permettre a l'utilisateur d'activer/désactiver la fonction anonyme.

Voici quelques exemples ci-dessous, l'ensemble de mes tests sont effectués avec des utilisateurs ayant un plan d'appel.

Exemple 1: Permettre aux utilisateurs d'activer/désactiver la fonction anonyme

Par défaut, la fonctionnalité est désactivée

Le changement est encore une fois immédiat, des tests d'appels depuis un client Skype ou Teams montre un identifiant anonyme pour le destinataire.
