Après le Patch Tuesday d’août 2019 et l’installation de la mise à jour KB4511553, certaines applications Visual Basic 6 (VB6), VBA, et VBScript peuvent cesser de répondre et renvoyer l’erreur : invalid procedure call error.

Microsoft travaille sur un correctif qui sera mis à disposition de manière optionnelle.
La première mise à jour a été publiée pour Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (KB4517297). Les autres vont suivre dans les prochains jours.
