Annonce:

We’ll soon be rolling out screen sharing in Teams/Skype for Business as a new Office 365 interoperability feature.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 53934.

We will be rolling out to GCC customers soon.

How does this affect me?

With this change, your Teams Only users will be able to share their desktops with users in chats or calls with Skype for Business users. This feature expands how the two applications coexist and interoperate.

In addition, Teams Only users will be able to share their desktops in chats or calls with external partners. This feature facilitates creating a Teams meeting invitation for the external party.

We'll be rolling this out to customers in mid-August. The rollout will be complete by the end of August.

What do I need to do to prepare for this change?

There is nothing you need to do to prepare for this change, but you may consider updating your user training and notifying your helpdesk.
